A TikTok has highlighted her ‘foolproof’ hack that she claims will improve your success when applying for jobs.
A TikToker claims to have the perfect hack to give yourself the best chance of employment with a simple change to your resume.
Trying to get a job can often prove to be a really draining experience.
One of the most frustrating things is simply not getting a response from companies.

You spent all that time making your resume a perfect fit for the role or filled out an application form that basically asks you to re-explain your resume anyway.
But TikToker Cami Petyn told her followers that she had a brilliant method to increase how often you get replies at the bare minimum.
She added that using her simple hack, you will likely end up with more interviews and could even land a job in days rather than weeks and months.
Speaking on her TikTok page, camipetyn, she admitted that the method was essentially a little ‘dystopian’ but it would ultimately give applicants a chance at beating the artificial intelligence that companies often use to sort candidates.
In the video, which has gone viral with over 1.2 million views, she said: “Did I girl boss too close to the sun and now not only have one, not two, but three part-time jobs? I did.
“I was terrified a couple of weeks ago. I applied to probably 65 jobs and wasn’t hearing anything back,”
“I guess because we actually live in a dystopia out of a Philip K. Dick novel, AI is causing a lot of us to not get jobs, besides in the recession, AI is partially to blame.
She explained that companies are using artificial intelligence to either deny or push forward applicants, meaning your resume might not actually be seen by a human before you are denied.
“The problem is, AI will say you’re not a good fit if it can’t read the résumé – if the formatting isn’t AI friendly,” she continued, joking she wasn’t even aware she had to keep this in mind when applying for jobs.

She said to work around AI, candidates should find the online listing of the job and copy and paste the job description on to their resume.
After doing that they should turn the entire description white, so it can’t be seen and make it very small.
She insisted AI will still be able to read the resume, even if it can’t be viewed by the human eye. The AI will then recognize multiple keywords from the description and likely push you forward to the next stage.
She added that this will mean a lot of extra work when applying to jobs but argued that if successful, it will at least stop you worrying about not having a job.
