As difficult as it may be to have and maintain one, with all the added pressure of the paparazzi and the spotlight, some couples have managed to make an exception. Even if they were born years apart, they just keep on proving that age is just a number.
These A-list celebrities should clearly be on everyone’s couple-goals. They’ve worked past their differences and the difficulties along the way, only to create some of the most jealous-worthy bonds that Hollywood has to offer. We couldn’t help but wonder how they do it, so here are some of their secrets!
Madonna And Ahlamalik Williams – 35 Years
Madonna and Ahlamalik Williams have an unexpected age gap of 35 years. The legendary pop singer is 62 years old, while her lover is only 27. For people who know Madonna, this wouldn’t come as a huge surprise, as she actually has a history of dating men much younger than her.
Williams is a dancer, and it was through his profession that he met the Papa Don’t Preach songstress. The pair reportedly met when he was a backup dancer for her Rebel Heart tour in 2015. Their romance was later confirmed in 2018.
Larry King and Shawn Southwick – 26 Years
It takes a brave woman to jump into a relationship with a man who is 26 years older than her and has been married seven times before. But that’s what Shawn Southwick did when she tied the knot with broadcast veteran Larry King. This happened in 1997, in a hospital room where King was being prepped for surgery.
Together he and the singer and dancer had two children, Chance and Cannon. King was also stepfather to Shawn’s son from another relationship, Danny Southwick, an Arena Football League quarterback. Larry King passed away of sepsis and respiratory failure in January 2021. He was 87.
Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa – 12 Years
Even though Lisa Bonet hasn’t undertaken an actual project since playing on Ray Donovan in 2016, she never left the spotlight. That’s not just because she’s an excellent actress, but also because of her relationship with the equally talented and beautiful Jason Momoa. They’ve been dating since before he got his big break.
They started seeing each other in 2005. Momoa was a big fan of Lisa from The Cosby Show. In 2007 they welcomed their first child and their second a year later. They only tied the knot, though, in 2017, a year before Jason starred in Aquaman. He’ll be revisiting that character for Aquaman 2.
Bob Saget and Kelly Rizzo – 23 Years
She’s the founder of a production company, and he’s a 23-years older well-known actor and stand-up comedian. Although seemingly Kelly Rizzo and Bob Saget have nothing in common, they’ve been making their relationship work for years. According to the Cheat Sheet, they met each other in 2015 and have been together ever since.
Saget had three daughters with his ex-wife, Sherri Kramer. Today, they’re all one happy mixed family. They tied the knot by 2018 and haven’t looked back since. Rizzo’s company is named Eat Travel Rock Productions, specializing in social media and ad content. Meanwhile, Saget will play on Killing Daniel in 2021.
Shakira and Gerard Piqué – 10 Years
Because Shakira doesn’t seem to get old physically, the age difference between her and her hubby, Gerard Piqué, isn’t that obvious. The equally good-looking couple met in 2010 on the Waka Waka music video set, where the athlete was featured because he is a member of Spain’s national football team.
The pair, who share the same birthday but have a ten-year age gap, are raising two sons. They haven’t tied the knot yet, though. In a 2020 interview on 60 Minutes, Shakira shared that she has no plans to officially be a Mrs. soon as she is scared of marriage.
Princess Charlene and Prince Albert – 20 Years
Despite the many controversies surrounding Prince Albert II’s alleged past affairs, he and Princess Charlene have been making their marriage work for almost a decade now. Before joining Monaco’s largest royal family, Charlene was an Olympic swimmer from Zimbabwe, representing South Africa.
They met each other during the Mare Nostrum event, in Monaco, back in 2000. They only officially started dating, though, in 2006, one year before Charlene’s retirement. In 2014 she gave birth to the royal heirs, their set of twins, Princess Gabriella and Jaques, the Hereditary Prince of Monaco.
Elton John and David Furnish – 15 Years
Come to think that Elton John’s first album was released seven years after David Furnish, his life-partner, was born. Their age difference is considerably large. Nevertheless, they’ve been making it work since 1993, when they first met each other at a dinner party. In 2005 they started their civil partnership, and by 2014, when it was legal, they exchanged vows.
Today, they’ve also had two children together, both born via surrogacy, in 2010 and 2013. In 2019 they produced the Rocketman movie about Elton’s life, which won the Best Original Song Academy Award in 2020. In 2021 Elton took part in the Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil docuseries.
Matt Bomer and Simon Halls – 14 Years
Even though they were not always open about their relationship, that all changed in 2012, when Matt Bomer came out, and even more so in 2014 when he revealed being married. Of course, his decision to do so came a year after he and Simon Halls, a now 57-year-old co-founder of Slate RP, had gotten married.
Matt himself is 43, and his career keeps looking better and better. He is now going to be playing on The Book of Ruth in 2021 as if their three children weren’t keeping him busy enough! Within 2020, Simon was also a production assistant for an episode of Stars in the House.
Julianne Moore and Bart Freundlich – 9 Years
Julianne Moore revealed in a September 2020 interview on The Drew Barrymore Show that the secret to her lasting marriage to husband Bart Freundlich is investing in making the relationship work. Indeed, the couple, who wed in 2003, has been going strong and will be celebrating 18 years of marriage in August 2021.
The love birds met while filming the 1997 movie The Myth of Fingerprints, Freundlich’s directorial debut, which starred Moore. Sparks flew, and the couple welcomed their first child, Caleb, in December of that year. Their second child, Liv, came in 2002.
Sam Taylor-Johnson and Aaron Taylor-Johnson – 23 Years
Director Sam Taylor-Johnson was 42, while Aaron Taylor-Johnson was only 19 when they first crossed paths in 2008 on the set of Nowhere Boy. They instantly clicked and got engaged in 2009. The following year, the couple welcomed their first child and the next in 2012, the same year they got married.
The love birds are notoriously private about their relationship. However, Aaron once lambasted those who can’t help but raise the issue about their age gap, saying that it lasted more than his friends’ marriages. These days, the couple remains elusive to the media and lives a quiet life in Los Angeles.
Carol Burnett and Brian Miller – 23 Years
Carol Burnett had two failed marriages in the past and was enjoying being a single gal in the ’90s when she met Brian Miller, who was a Hollywood Bowl Orchestra contractor at the time. The couple dated for three years before they decided to get married in 2001, making him the stepfather of her three kids, Erin, Carrie, and Jody Hamilton, whom she shares with Joe Hamilton.
Despite their 23-year age gap, Burnett and Miller have stood by each other’s side during tough times. In 2020, he supported the comedian’s decision to file for legal guardianship of Dylan, her teenage grandson. A court granted them temporary custody.
Richard Gere and Alejandra Silva – 33 Years
Pretty Woman star Richard Gere and his wife Alejandra Silva first met in 2014, and as per the stories, he consistently sent her flowers to get her on a date with him. When the political activist did, she never looked back and has become vocal about how she didn’t regret the decision.
The pair, who welcomed their second child in April 2020, exchanged vows in 2018 in their New York home. As for their 33-year age gap, Silva addressed the elephant in the room and said it doesn’t bother her.
Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel – 7 Years
After she called it quits with Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a child, Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr got back in the dating game in 2014. At a Louis Vuitton event, the Australian was seated next to Evan Spiegel, the billionaire Snapchat founder. Right then and there, she showed interest by engaging him in a conversation.
After exchanging numbers, the tech magnate left and didn’t reach out to Kerr because he didn’t think she would be interested in him. But by 2017, they were married and now share two children. Kerr and Bloom’s partner, Katy Perry, are pretty close as they recently talked about motherhood.
Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden – 7 Years
Charlie’s Angels star Cameron Diaz has her pal Nicole Richie to thank for introducing her to Benji Madden. They hit it off and began dating shortly after meeting in 2014 and got engaged by December of that year. In 2015, the celebrities exchanged I Do’s in an intimate ceremony.
Diaz may have had lots of high-profile relationships in the past, but she said that Madden made her forget her past. She even gushed about the Good Charlotte member in her 2016 book, and he also praised her multiple times. The notoriously private couple welcomed their first child, Raddix, in 2020.
Woody Allen and Soon-Yi Previn – 35 Years
Marrying the adoptive daughter of your former partner (actress Mia Farrow) is something that doesn’t happen very often. But the American director Woody Allen (now 85) couldn’t help but fall in love with Soon-Yi Previn, who was just 21 when she first got involved with him. The two tied the knot in 1997, much to the amazement of pretty much everybody.
In 2021, Allen and Previn’s relationship was depicted in the documentary Allen v Farrow. While many viewers criticized the American director, the documentary didn’t expose their story in a black-and-white fashion. According to The Guardian, it was “pure PR” and omitted many important facts.
Phoebe Cates and Kevin Kline – 16 Years
The American actress Phoebe Cates decided to retire to focus on managing her Madison Avenue boutique. Known from movies such as Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Gremlins, Cates is married to Kevin Kline, whom she met in the early ’80s. The two Hollywood professionals have been an item for decades and have two children together.
While Kline is 16 years older than Cates, their age gap was never a problem. An experienced show biz professional, Kline still works actively in the industry and is set to appear in the upcoming productions The Starling, The Diary, and The Good House.
Helena Bonham Carter and Rye Dag Holmboe – 22 Years
“A bit of unexpected magic.” That’s how Helena Bonham Carter has described her relationship with the writer Rye Dag Holmboe, who’s 22 years younger than her. Carter divorced the acclaimed director Tim Burton in 2014 and has refound love and joy in the arms of Holmboe.
While Holmboe is much younger than Carter, the Sweeney Todd actress has described him as an “old soul” and an “unbelievably mature” man. Currently working in the upcoming TV series Call My Agent (UK), Carter has two children from her previous marriage to Burton.
Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles – 10 Years
The actor/singer Harry Styles is working hard on the set of the upcoming movie My Policeman. But work gets a little easier when you get to be visited by a woman as stunning as Olivia Wilde! The former House superstar is dating Styles, and their 10-year age gap is not an issue for their growing legion of fans.
In the Summer of 2021, the two lovebirds are still going strong, and the celebrity press is filling up with rumors. Some sources claim Wilde and Styles may be expecting a child, while others wonder if Styles was the main reason Wilde decided to divorce her ex-husband, actor Jason Sudeikis.
Robin Wright and Clement Giraudet – 18 Years
Robin Wright was, at one point, part of one of the most popular Hollywood couples with iconic actor Sean Penn. Their relationship was on and off, and divorce was threatened several times, which isn’t the case in her current setup with Yves Saint Laurent executive Clément Giraudet.
Bear in mind they’ve only been together since 2017 and have been married since 2018. They got married at a secret ceremony in La Roche-sur-le-Buis, a commune in France. Wright has had plenty of small roles in 2021, including roles in the 2021 Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Land, and an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Kelsey Grammer and Kayte Walsh – 27 Years
Kelsey Grammer did himself no favors when he started dating Kayte Walsh. Not only is he 27 years older than her, but they also attracted a lot of ire because Grammer was still married to his wife Camille when he started his relationship with Walsh.
Walsh was open about it, acknowledging the boundary they had overstepped and saying she isn’t proud of the way things happened. She also apologized profusely. Despite the rocky start, their love survived, and they got married in 2011. They have three children together. Grammer recently finished work on a 2021 film called The God Committee.
LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian – 10 Years
LeAnne Rimes attracted a lot of negative attention with the way her relationship with actor Eddie Cibrian started. The couple met while working on a film called Northern Lights, a made-for-TV film by Lifetime. The only problem is Rimes was still married to backup dancer Dean Sheremet.
Her affair with Cibrian made headlines and also caused the demise of Cibrian’s marriage to Brandi Glanville, who is also the other parent of his two children. Regardless of the controversy, Rimes took ownership of her actions, and she and Cibrian married in 2012. Cibrian currently has a role in the series Country Comfort.
Patrick Stewart and Sunny Ozell – 38 Years
Sir Patrick Stewart and his wife Sunny Ozell have a massive age gap of 38 years between them. In fact, he was more than twice her age when they first met, with him being 68 while she was 30 at the time. Even her father wasn’t impressed, although he eventually came around.
He even called Stewart son, despite there being just five years between them (Ozell’s father is older). Stewart is best known for playing Professor X in the X-Men films and playing Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation. He returned as Picard for a spin-off called Star Trek: Picard.
Jeff Goldblum and Emilie Livingston – 30 Years
Jeff Goldblum may have gotten a little grey in the hair and beard, but he hasn’t aged much at all in his face. This is why it isn’t easy to discern how old he is, although it’s still clear that he is older than his wife, Emilie Livingstone.
She is a Canadian gymnast who is 30 years the veteran actor’s junior. They share two children born in 2015 and 2017. Goldblum has a voice role in the upcoming 2021 film The Boss Baby: Family Business and will reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm in 2022’s Jurassic World: Dominion.
Robert Duvall and Luciana Duvall – 41 Years
True love exists between Robert Duvall and his wife, Luciana Duvall, despite having an age gap of 41 years. The incredible thing is they also share the same birthday! The Argentine actress is the Apocalypse Now star’s fourth wife, and they shared the screen in 2002’s Assassination Tango.
Before entering the acting industry, Luciana worked as a marketing director for W. & Associates. In 1996, she met Robert, who was then walking down a street when she suddenly invited him to a party without even knowing him. Now, this is what you call destiny!
Jim Carrey and Ginger Gonzaga – 22 Years
Jim Carrey was married twice before to Melissa Womer, an actress, and Lauren Holly, his Dumb and Dumber co-star. After these two, the next woman he loved was Cathriona White. In a tragic turn of events, she passed away from a prescription drug overdose in 2015. And for three years, he remained single.
But in January, Carrey opened up his heart again to Ginger Gonzaga, the actress who played his character’s love interest on the show Kidding. They had an over two-decade age gap and sadly ended their relationship in October 2019.
Rene Angelil and Celine Dion – 26 Years
Although she’s 26 years younger than him, Grammy-winner Celine Dion loved her manager-turned-husband Rene Angelil with all of her heart. After all, they were together for 21 years and even had three sons named René-Charles, Nelson, and Eddy. They wouldn’t have parted ways if Angelil’s wasn’t taken early in January 2016 at 73 years old.

Josh Brolin and Kathryn Boyd – 20 Years
Josh Brolin, known to the world as the actor who played Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, started dating his former assistant, Kathryn Boyd, in March 2013. They have a 20-year age gap, but that didn’t stop them from falling in love and getting married three years later.
Brolin and his model wife, an entrepreneur with experience in film production, shared that they were expecting their first kid in May 2018 via Instagram. The baby girl named Westlyn Reign then came that same year, and after two years, her sister, Chapel Grace, followed.
Tilda Swinton and Sandro Kopp – 18 Years
Playwright John Byrne is the father of Tilda Swinton’s twins, but their relationship didn’t work out. In 2004, she met a much younger man, Sandro Kopp, while filming The Chronicles of Narnia. Apparently, the three of them all lived together under the same roof at one point.
Many outlets described Kopp and Swinton’s relationship as unconventional. While Lionel Richie and Lisa Parigi have been a couple for seven years now, fans were shocked to know that their age gap is 40 years! Many also noted that the woman in her 30s, who runs the lifestyle blog Dream Design Discover, is younger than the Hello singer’s daughter, 39-year-old Nicole.
Richie is currently busy being a judge on American Idol. Meanwhile, his girlfriend is hustling on her own as the founder of The Estate Collection, a luxe candle line. Parigi, also an influencer and a curator, is from Switzerland but currently resides in Los Angeles.
Sean Penn and Leila George – 32 Years
Sean Penn surprised the world in 2020 when he confirmed rumors that he and then-girlfriend of four years Leila George had exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony. The Mystic River star revealed on Late Night with Seth Meyers that they got married through a Zoom call with the county commissioner while his kids and her brother served as witnesses at their house.
As per reports, Penn had to woo back his partner after they broke up before the wedding happened. In April 2021, the couple was spotted with Rande Gerber while grabbing dinner in Malibu.
John Stamos and Caitlin McHugh – 23 Years
Full House star John Stamos and now-wife Caitlin McHugh, who have 23 years between them, first crossed paths in 2011 on the set of Law and Order, but they didn’t immediately hit it off. It wasn’t until 2015 that he decided to pursue her, though. He asked for her hand in marriage two years later at Disneyland, her favorite place on earth.
In February 2018, Stamos and McHugh got married, and months later, their first child arrived. In April 2021, the 57-year-old opened up about fatherhood and described the experience as better than what he had thought.
Warren Beatty and Annette Bening – 21 Years
Although it isn’t a widely accepted fact, Warren Beatty was known for being a ladies’ man in Hollywood. But that was until he met Annette Bening during a meeting for the film Bugsy in 1991. He recognized during that lunch that she was “The One” for him.
All it took was one date, and they clicked and got married in 1992. It changed Beatty so much that he even paused his career when he started a family with her. The couple, who has a 21-year age gap, celebrated their 29th anniversary this year.
Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman – 18 Years
Much like the previous couple, Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman also got off to a rocky start. We say this because their relationship started as an affair. In fact, when Lauren’s ex-husband, Andrew Silverman, filed for a divorce, he cited their relationship as the reason why.
Of course, with Cowell’s A-list celebrity status, the process was highly publicized. By 2014, however, Cowell and Silverman had their son together, Eric. They’ve since been sighted multiple times, vacating together. Lauren is 43 years old right now, whereas Cowell is 61 and worth around $600 million.
Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner – 19 Years
Kevin Costner’s first big-screen project, the film called Malibu Hot Summer, was released in 1981, meaning that his current wife, Christine Baumgartner, was 7 years old at the time. Of course, they only met each other in the late ‘80s, according to Prevention, when Costner was still married to Cindy, his ex-wife.
Years after his divorce, by 1998, their paths crossed again. They went on to date until 2002, when they called it quits only to reconcile and get married a couple of years later. Christine’s now a handbag designer, while Costner has just voiced a small character on Zack Snyder’s Justice League in 2021.
Rosario Dawson and Cory Booker – 10 Years
Their relationship is somewhat new, given that they only went public in 2019, but already they’ve become one of our favorite couples. Rosario Dawson is ten years younger than Cory Booker, but that hasn’t affected their relationship in the slightest. According to Oprah Mag, they met in 2018 at a friend’s party.
While Booker has been spending almost the entire past decade being the senator of New Jersey, Dawson’s career also has been going great. Just within 2021, she’s set to play on two series, Dopestick and DMZ, while also having served as a judge on The Big Big Show.
Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble – 25 Years
Any fan of the Kardashians and the Jenners probably knows already that Kris has been in a relationship with the much-younger Corey Gamble for a while now. Given how well amazing their bond seems online, we can’t help but want to take a closer look at how they’re making it work.
According to Cosmopolitan, they met at one of Kanye’s parties in Ibiza back in 2014. However, they only started dating sometime in 2018, when he first started making appearances on Jenner’s Instagram. Gamble eventually found himself on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. He’s 40 years old at the moment, whereas Kris is 65.
John Stamos and Caitlin McHugh – 23 Years
In 2016 John Stamos started leaving hints about him being in a relationship, according to People Magazine. Of course, the media was pretty curious to find out who that person was, and soon enough, he and Caitlin McHugh went public. Surprisingly, she’s over 20 years younger than him!
The year 2018 was pretty busy for them, as they had their only, so far, child together, Eric. They also got married in a beautiful ceremony in Beverly Hills. The couple also launched their St. Amos Jewelry line that year. For now, Stamos is working on a new TV series called Big Shot.
Kate Upton and Justin Verlander – 10 Years
Their paths crossed for the first time in 2012 when they worked on a commercial for Major League Baseball 2K12. Though they did date at the time, according to USA Magazine, they split up in 2013, only to reconcile in 2014 and go public. Since then, Kate Upton and Justine Verlander have been inseparable.
They exchanged vows in Tuscany, Italy, in 2017. They had their only daughter a year later. Kate may be 10 years younger than Verlander, but that hasn’t affected their relationship in the slightest. He played his last season in 2020 with the Houston Astors and is scheduled to get back on the field by 2022.
Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender – 11 Years
Fate brought these two actors together, filming for The Light Between Two Oceans in 2014. They left that year as a couple, and by 2016, when the film was released, they had even made their relationship public. Both Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender are notoriously private, so we’re not surprised to see them taking their time with it.
The truth is that Fassbender is 11 years older than Alicia, but clearly, that hasn’t affected them in the slightest. Once Vikander got to play on Tomb Raider, they moved in together, and by 2017, they were married. Now, we’ll be seeing her on Blue Bayou and Michael on The Wild Bunch.
Hilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan – 16 Years
It turns out, according to E Online, that Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton were actually set up! When they met, Jeffrey was still playing on Supernatural, so his co-star, Jensen Ackles, had him acquainted with Hilarie. Little did they all know that 10 years later, they would officially exchange vows.
In fairness, they had already had a family by then. They had their firstborn in 2010 and their daughter eight years later. Since 2016, the 54-year-old Jeffrey has been portraying Negan on The Walking Dead. In 2021, even Hilarie appeared on an episode portraying Lucille.
Julius Tennon and Viola Davis – 12 Years
The PureWow website mentions that Viola Davis and Julius Tennon met each other on-set of the City Of Angels series back in 2000. He only played in a couple of episodes, but that was enough to create a spark between them. By the summer of 2003, they had already walked down the aisle.
Since getting married, they’ve had one child together, Genesis, born in 2011. They have also appeared in some episodes of How To Get Away With Murder by each other’s side. Julius is 12 years older, but clearly, that only had a positive impact on their relationship. We’re now looking forward to seeing Davis on The Suicide Squad.
Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin – 13 Years
Their romance may have gotten created on a TV series set, but it has lasted them for over a decade now. Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin met each other when they were both playing on True Blood. In 2010, they got married at a beautiful wedding ceremony in Hawaii.
One of the most characteristic things about them is how much they enjoy their privacy, especially since getting together. While Paquin may be 13 years younger than Moyer, their age difference has only positively affected their relationship. They’ve had two children together so far and have also remained active as actors, with Moyer’s upcoming movie being a film called Confession.
Chris Noth and Tara Wilson – 28 Years
Chris Noth is best known for playing the character of John James “Mr. Big” Preston in the cult classic drama series S*x and the City. While he is renowned for the character, even playing him in two spinoff movies, he also recently took on a role in the 2021 series The Equalizer.
Noth met Tara Wilson in 2002 and welcomed their first child in 2008. Four years later, they tied the knot and have been married ever since, despite their 28-year age difference. They recently announced the birth of their second child in 2020. Noth and Wilson also own a pair of tea houses in Ontario, Canada, known as Once Upon a Tea Cup.
Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana – 9 Years
Janet Jackson has been in her fair share of relationships. In fact, she eloped with singer James DeBarge in 1984 at the age of 18. The marriage was annulled a year later and set the tone for her subsequent flings with the likes of Jermain Dupri and dancer René Elizondo Jr.
But her marriage to businessman Wissam Al Mana was supposed to be different. They started dating in 2010 and tied the knot in 2012. Everything was going well when Jackson announced her pregnancy in 2016. Then, just three months after their son was born in 2017, news of their separation broke. However, they’re still legally married to this day.
Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka – 14 Years
After a few failed attempts at high profile relationships to fellow celebrities like Nick Cannon and big-time businessmen like billionaire James Packer, Mariah Carey decided to pursue someone a little more close to home… or at least home when she’s on tour.
She has been dating backup dancer Bryan Tanaka, who has worked with Carey and other well-known artists. They’ve been working together since 2006 but only started dating after Carey and Packer broke off their engagement in 2016. Though Christian Slater’s first big relationship landed him with a domestic battery charge, he was given a second chance when he met Brittany Lopez. Slater was previously married to Ryan Haddon, with whom he had a very publicized divorce. Eventually, he met Lopez, though, long after he and his ex had broken up.
According to Bustle, it happened at the Little Palm Island resort in Florida. They hit it off immediately despite the large age gap between them. In 2013 they tied the knot in Miami and have even had a daughter together in 2019! In 2021, Slater’s expected to play on 2 of the new Dr. Death series.

He was working on two series at the time, Goliath and Merry Happy Whatever, while she was working on her Ph.D. in accounting. Regardless of their completely different backgrounds and their 39-year-long age difference, Dennis Quaid and Laura Savoie are among the most loving couples in Hollywood today.
Quaid needed to go through three failed marriages to get it right, but it looks like now that he’s found Savoie, he can finally settle down. According to The Daily Mail, they eloped in Santa Barbara while their wedding date had to be postponed due to the pandemic. Today, Quaid will be playing on Born a Champion.

Clint Eastwood became a legend after roles like the Man with No Name in the Dollar Trilogy and Harry Callahan in the Dirty Harry film franchise. He was not only a hit with the men but also with the ladies. Hence why he has been married twice, been in two long relationships, and has eight children.
But he appears to have settled in nicely with his current partner Christina Sandera. They met while she worked as a hostess at Eastwood’s hotel. They made their public debut in 2015, and there are rumors that they are engaged. Eastwood is currently directing a neo-western called Cry Macho.
Al Pacino and Meital Dohan – 39 Years
Despite general expectations, It’s surprising how many relationships go on strong despite a massive age gap. But there is always one that goes as everyone expected. That appears to be the case for Al Pacino and Israeli actress Meital Dohan. The relationship hadn’t been going on long since they were first linked in 2018.
But Meital recently revealed that one of the main reasons for her breaking things off with him was the 39-year age gap. She says she found it hard to be with someone so much older despite the love she felt for him. Pacino hasn’t commented about it. He is set to star in the 2021 film House of Gucci.
Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell – 18 Years
It’s extraordinary how Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell met. Barbara Walters introduced them after McCartney was on her show and told her that he once fell in love with a Jewish girl. Shevell is Walter’s first-cousin-once-removed and graduated from Arizona State University.
She and McCartney got engaged and married in 2011 and attended Yom Kippur synagogue services before the wedding out of respect for Shevell’s religion. Upon their marriage, Shevell became lady McCartney. Paul wrote a song for her called My Valentine, which went onto his Kisses On The Bottom album in 2012. He released his later album called McCartney III Imagined in April 2021.
William Shatner and Elizabeth Martin – 27 Years
William Shatner was pretty distraught after the death of his third wife, Nerine Kidd. He called her his everything and was visibly shaken when talking about her. But he eventually found peace and quietly married a 27-year younger Elizabeth Martin. She is a horse trainer who also lost her previous husband.
They were married for 18 years by 2019, but both filed for divorce, with it being finalized in March 2020. But in March 2021, they were seen back together after Martin attended a celebration for Shatner’s 90th birthday. Rumors have since been flying around about them being back together.
Anthony Hopkins and Stella Arroyave – 18 Years
While Sir Anthony Hopkins is a respected actor renowned for his roles as Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon, and Hannibal. Georgia Moffett’s father was the fifth Doctor Who, whereas her husband was the tenth. As impossible as that may sound, they actually met each other on the single episode in which Georgia ever participated, back in 2008, called The Doctor’s Daughter. Georgia was born in 1984, the same year when her father left the show.

Courteney Cox gained fame for playing Monica Gellar in Friends and Gale Weathers in the Scream film franchise. She also found love from the latter when she married co-star David Arquette. But the marriage didn’t last, and they eventually split, although they get on swimmingly while co-parenting their daughter.
She didn’t remain single for very long, though, and by 2013 she started dating the vocalist for Snow Patrol, Johnny McDade. They split in 2015 but eventually made up and got back together in 2016. They used to be engaged, and now they are still together. Cox is set to return as Gale Weathers in a fourth Scream film.

The Insider mentions that Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves met each other randomly at a Los Angeles club in 2006. Fate must’ve brought them together, as they have no ties to L.A. other than business. They ended up dating for some years, even starting a family together. They exchanged vows in 2012.
By then, they were already parents of three, two of whom are boys. The ceremony came almost a year after McConaughey landed his first Best Actor Academy Award with the Dallas Buyers Club film, and it’s safe to say that he wouldn’t have been able to win it without the support of his 12-year-younger wife.
Sidney Poitier and Joanna Shimkus – 17 Years
Now retired, the 94-year-old movie legend Sidney Poitier has been reveling in the company of his wife of 45 years, the Canadian actress Joanna Shimkus. They have two daughters together, including the actress Sydney Tamia Portier. Still officially active, Shimkus hasn’t been in a movie since 2018’s The Force, but she’s set to appear in the upcoming documentary Boom! L’estate di Joe, Liz e Richard.
Poitier is 17 years older than Shimkus, but you can hardly tell it. They live together in Stuyvesant, New York, in a house that’s big enough to accommodate Poitier’s huge family whenever needed. After all, the former Bahamian-American actor has eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren!

The tremendously funny Wanda Sykes had a hard time coming out to her conservative parents, but she’s been living her truth for a while now. She’s been in a relationship with Alex Niedbalski (now Alex Sykes) since 2006, and their ten-year age gap hardly seems to pose a challenge.
The loving duo has been taking care of their two children, the twins Olivia and Lucas, since 2009. While Sykes’s parents have refused to go to her wedding with Alex, they have since accepted the relationship. Always busy, Sykes has just made it to the TV series Pandemica and is working in the upcoming video game Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
Nicolas Cage and Riko Shibata – 31 Years
Ghost Rider star Nicolas Cage shocked Hollywood when it was revealed that he married his fifth wife, Riko Shibata, in February 2021 at Wynn Hotel. Many raised eyebrows because of their age difference, with him being 57 and her just turning 26 a few weeks before the ceremony.
The pair first sparked romance in January 2020 when they were spotted in New Orleans. About their engagement, Cage revealed that he popped the question via FaceTime, choosing a black diamond band because it was her favorite color. He then sent it to Shibata via FedEx, and the rest is history.
Kitty Spencer and Michael Lewis – 32 Years
The English fashion model/aristocrat Lady Kitty Spencer is best known for being the niece of the late Princess Diana. An English Literature graduate, Spencer announced her engagement to Michael Lewis in 2020, much to the surprise of the British tabloids. Lewis is a wealthy South-African businessman but, most importantly, he’s 32 years older than Spencer!
